Brixton Balls is a unique street food bistro in Prague’s happening Vinohrady neighbourhood.
We serve a variety of meat and veggie balls paired with tasty side dishes. You’re welcome to sit down and enjoy your food with us. Or, if you’re pushed for time we’ll happily prepare your food to go.
Our food is simple but delicious. And while it’s served quickly, it’s painstakingly prepared.
Our meatballs and veggie balls are homemade and sourced from handpicked suppliers. Our meat is produced just for us and comes from the one of the best butchers in the country, Fiala in Milovice.
Even our drinks are carefully chosen. We serve Falkenštejn beer from the border region of Northern Bohemia, and sensational root beer and apple cider.
Brixton Balls is a chapter in a book that is continually being written. It’s a story of two guys who quit their day jobs to follow their passion: cooking.
Music producer Tim Simenon gave up a glamorous life of music, parties and touring with bands for getting up early to prepare meatballs all day.
Luděk Netušil, meanwhile, swapped a career working in one of the most famous Czech restaurants, under one of the top Czech chefs, for serving meatballs in a small Vinohrady bistro.
And neither could be happier.
Tim and Luděk like nothing more than hanging out with their customers and hearing how much they love our bistro – and our balls.
So Brixton Balls is a chapter in a book about passion. And the moral of the story? It doesn’t matter how much other people envy your job. Or how cool or prestigious your life is. What really matters is whether or not you are doing what you truly want to do.
And we are.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
